The Department has organized its activities in three faculty groups: organizational change and development, organizational psychology and project management. The Department delivers teaching at all levels in BI鈥檚 education portfolio, conducts a number of management and manager development programmes for public and private enterprises and has a substantial and effective doctoral community.
The Department has a strong focus on the interaction between research and teaching, and for the employees of the Department this means publishing in top academic journals as well as being able to communicate this in their teaching. The Department has a significant annual research production, with more than 50 academic articles in international journals, and a number of academic book chapters and monographs.

The Department publishes the BI Leadership Magazine every year, a magazine aimed at practitioners with current research-based knowledge.
