Admission Application Evaluation

Transcripts

BI 黑料专区 Business School’s established practice is to use all grades from each year in the bachelor’s degree to calculate the overall GPA or percentage score. Furthermore, the credit value of the course is used in calculating the GPA.

Other schools, especially higher education institutions in other countries, may use differing methods for calculating the GPA e.g. most schools in Britain calculate the percentage using only the final two years in a three-year degree in determining the overall percentage. The GPA for all applicants will be calculated using BI’s established procedures.

The following guidelines are used for evaluating the minimum grade requirements established for admission to BI 黑料专区 Business School:

Overall Assessment

For applicants who are close to, but do not meet all the minimum requirements, an individual overall assessment may be conducted. In this process, applicants who can demonstrate that they match our applicant profile, may be given an offer of admission. The assessment will be made on the basis of the transcript of grades, letters of reference from your employer, the motivation letter and the CV.

Admission Decisions

  1. Full offer: if you have successfully completed your bachelor’s degree and satisfy the admission requirements, you may receive an offer of admission
  2. Conditional offer: if you are in your final year, and we believe you will satisfy the admission requirements upon graduation, you may receive a conditional offer of admission. Or, you might be required to complete a course before beginning the semester. In this case, you will need to submit documentation as soon as you have fulfilled the conditions before you will receive a full offer of admission.
  3. Deferral: if you are in your final year or are retaking courses, and your GPA is close to the requirements, you may be asked to send us your grades from your Spring semester before a decision can be made.
  4. Denial of admission: if you do not meet the admission requirements, you will receive notification that you will not be admitted to the programme.

Please note: meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee admission. An overall assessment of an application or a lack of available study places may result in a denial of admission.
