  • Monday, December 20, 2021 - Leif sadly passed away today.

    Leif Helland passed away on Monday. It was very sad to receive the news. He had been terminally ill for a while, and he died peacefully with his family by his side. He was a great researcher and a great colleague and friend. He built up the research environment around experimental economics at BI. Leif will be sorely missed.

The paper investigates the effect of past arbitrator experience on stakeholder demands in bargaining, as well as the effect of past stakeholder experience in bargaining on arbitrator behavior.

    The ºÚÁÏרÇø Research Council has allocated 22 mill. NOK to CESAR for the years 2016-2021, as part of it's prestigious TOPPFORSK progam. The researchers in the project will study the causes of bargaining failure using game theoretical models and controlled laboratory experiments. The project is lead by Leif Helland.
